Babil had also mentioned actor Siddhant Chaturvedi in his video. Raghav said Siddhant called him after the video surfaced and expressed concern, saying, “Something went wrong.” Raghav clarified that Babil likely meant that he and a few others had been supportive, while some people in the industry had been rude to him—but the message got misunderstood.
According to Raghav, Sutapa herself was puzzled by her son’s statements and expressed concern: “I don’t know why he said that. Clearly, he is very disturbed.”

Siddhant Chaturvedi also addressed the issue in his Instagram story. Without naming anyone, he wrote, “Don’t try to find drama in our lives.” He added, “I usually don’t react to things written about me, but this feels personal. To gossip creators and Reddit users: please stop. Don’t search for drama in our lives.”
Official Statement from Babil’s Team
Following the uproar, Babil’s team released an official statement via his mother’s Instagram account. The message acknowledged Babil’s struggles and emphasized that he is currently safe.
The statement read: “Over the years, Babil has received immense love and respect for speaking openly about his acting journey and mental health. Like anyone, he too has tough days. This was one of them. We want to assure all his well-wishers that Babil is safe and will soon feel better.”
